Account support and security
Find the right Binance support route and preserve evidence
Separate Binance.com and Binance.US support, choose a safer account-recovery route and keep only relevant redacted evidence.
You will learn
- Identify whether a support question belongs to Binance.com or Binance.US before sharing evidence.
- Choose an official recovery or support route for a fictional account problem and explain why an unsolicited contact is unsafe.
- Prepare a minimal, redacted incident note without exposing passwords, security codes, private keys or recovery phrases.
Before you begin
No account, login, personal data, support ticket, wallet, seed phrase or transaction is needed. All example names, times and case references are fictional.
Start by identifying the service that holds the account
‘Binance’ is a brand used across different websites, apps, products and legal entities. The public Binance.com Support Center and the Binance.US Help Center are separate entry points. Their recovery steps and contact methods are not interchangeable. Before sharing any personal details, identify the exact service shown in your own official app or saved address and read the terms for that account; a similar logo, ticker or search result does not identify the operator.
On 26 October 2026, Binance.com’s Support Center listed self-service account actions and linked chat support. The separate Binance.US Help Center identified BAM Trading Services, Inc. d.b.a. Binance.US and listed its own support material. These pages are examples of distinct support routes, not a current universal directory. Channels, hours, product availability and procedures can change.

The page currently names Nest entities regulated in ADGM. This is evidence for the entities and scope stated on that page only, not a universal operator list or terms for every region, product or customer.
These are Binance.US terms, not Binance.com terms. The page names BAM Trading Services Inc. and related entities for those services; this does not establish the operator or user rights for another region or product. Read the terms applicable to the specific account and jurisdiction.
Match the problem to that service’s current help route
Open help from the official app or by entering a known official address yourself. If you cannot sign in, use that service’s public Help Center and its own self-service recovery guide. Do not follow a recovery link sent by an unsolicited caller, message or social account. The table is a routing aid; it does not submit an appeal or check an account.
| Situation | First safe route | Keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| You can sign in but need help | Use the help/support entry inside that same service’s official app or website. | Read the page for the specific product and account; a public article may not describe your eligibility. |
| You forgot the sign-in email or phone | Use the account-recovery route linked by the correct service’s own sign-in/help center. | Binance.com has a ‘Forgot Account’ route; Binance.US has its own Help Center. Do not send identity documents to a person who contacted you first. |
| You lost a two-factor device | Use the current recovery guide for the exact operator and follow only the official on-screen flow. | A security reset may trigger temporary account restrictions. Read the current notice before confirming; exact effects can change. |
| An account action or message looks suspicious | Use the official account security controls, then report through the same service’s official support route. | Do not transfer funds to a ‘safe’ wallet, share a password or verification code, or approve a login you did not start. |
| A blockchain transfer is confirmed but an exchange balance is missing | Keep the transaction hash and contact the receiving service’s support from its official route. | A blockchain receipt and an exchange account credit are different stages; see the transfer and diagnosis guides. Do not resend funds just to test. |

Verify a contact without trusting its display name
Start from a saved bookmark or the official app you already installed from the platform’s verified store listing. Check the full domain carefully; a message that uses the right logo, account name or public transaction details can still be an impersonation. Avoid links in ads, unexpected texts, direct messages and search-result snippets when handling an account problem.
Binance.com’s public Binance Verify tool can look up a URL, email, phone number or social handle against Binance’s verified sources. No contact was checked for this guide. A lookup result does not prove that a particular request is expected or safe, and it does not verify a Binance.US support request. The Binance.US contact article and Binance.com security guidance both warn about unsolicited impersonation attempts.

Preserve a short, redacted record before you contact support
Write down what happened in order, using the time zone shown by your device. Keep the service and product name, date/time, exact error text, the route you used, and any support reference the official service gives you. If the issue concerns an on-chain transfer, preserve its public transaction hash and the receiving asset/network as relevant; do not paste a seed phrase, private key, API secret, password or one-time code into a ticket or this educational site.
Screenshots can contain account balances, full email addresses, identity numbers, QR codes, session links or recovery codes. Redact details that the official support flow does not need. Only upload identity documents when the secure, independently opened recovery flow for the correct service explicitly asks for them. This site cannot receive or validate account records.

Solved fictional case: ignore the unsolicited recovery offer
Suppose a learner knows the account is with Binance.US because the service was saved from its official site, but they lose access to an authenticator. A Telegram account claiming to be ‘Binance Support’ sends a direct message and asks for a six-digit code to speed up recovery. The safe decision is to stop the chat, not share or enter the code there, open Binance.US independently, and follow its current Help Center instructions for a lost 2FA device. The learner records the time, exact error and an invented reference only after the official support flow provides one.
The decision is complete when the source and route match Binance.US, no secret has been sent to the stranger, and any requested evidence is submitted only in the independently opened official flow. This does not mean the account was recovered, the request was accepted or any funds are safe; only the service can confirm its account status. If the actual account is on Binance.com, use Binance.com’s separate route instead.

Know when to stop and which question support can answer
If the operator is unclear, official pages conflict, or someone pressures you to act quickly, do not send data or funds. Recheck the service using an independently opened official page. Do not share recovery phrases or private keys with an exchange support team: those belong to a self-custody wallet and are not account-recovery credentials. If you already disclosed a password or code, stop using the suspected link and contact the right service through its official route; no guide can promise that a loss can be reversed.
For a missing exchange credit, the receiving service can check its own account-credit process; a public chain explorer cannot show the status of a private exchange balance. For an on-chain status or a permission on a wallet, use the matching network/wallet guide. Support channels and evidence requirements are service-specific and may change, so recheck the live official page before acting.

Check your understanding
A person who says they are Binance.US support sends an unexpected direct message and asks for a one-time code. The learner’s account is known to be Binance.US. What should they do?
Show explanation
Do not reply, share the code or follow the message link. Open Binance.US independently, use its current Help Center and lost-2FA route, and record only redacted evidence requested by that official flow. This selects the right route; it does not establish that the account was recovered.
